Welcome to the newly discovered Numu Newe Picture Jasper Collection (PJC) from Nevada USA.
The Numu Newe PJC is named to honor of the native people of this harsh but beautiful desert region.
Numu Newe are two closely related Indigenous peoples of
the Great Basin. The Numu are the Northern Paiute and the Newe are the Western
Shoshone.
In their respective Numic languages, both Numu & Newe translate simply to
"The People."
I feel this collection is a brilliant reflection of the Numu Newe people and
their culture. I am honored to name this amazing collection after the Numu Newe.
The Numu Newe JPC was recently discovered in Q2 of 2026.
This amazing collection is made of 334 primary pieces with a total weight of 32.5 pounds.
Includes 12 large Cabinet pieces up to 4 inches.
This Picture Jasper has world class hardness, scenery, and color. Not seen in decades!
The Numu Newe have great respect for God and the land.
They believe in Pooha, a spiritual living power that flows through all things.
Pooha lives in all animals, plants, rocks, water, and even the weather.
The Pooha in the Numu Newe PJC flows like a mighty river to be witnessed by all people.
The collection is made of rare “Hybrid Glow Specimens” or pieces with two different activators!
Uranium gives an instant neon green glow then organic/structural defects result in up to a 15-second white afterglow.
All this gives the collection a “haunted” or “magical” quality separating it from all others! I believe it is Pooha!
